Just heard that Joe Lewis died.
He was fun. Great mind. Great timing. Power and speed in a nearly perfect package (and I met him well after his prime.) Analytical mind, and a blast to hang with.
He's left a good legacy. Taught some fine, tough people.
Fought cancer longer than the doctors thought he could.
Don't know what else to say. The old Dragons are passing.

Thanks Rory, so few have the 'inner thug'....the willingness to assert the authority of their will with violence of action, much less inspire the confidence in a student to do it ...Joe will be missed ...but his legacy will live on in all of us whose lives he touched...RIP Joe Lewis ..my mentor , my friend.
